Trump Mobile customer personal data exposed online

Mobile provider Trump Mobile has confirmed that the names, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, and order IDs of its customers were left unprotected on the open internet. Company representative Chris Walker told TechCrunch that an investigation into the incident is underway, as reported by Techcrunch.com .

According to current information, no evidence has been found that users' private correspondence or financial data was leaked. The company emphasized that no cyberattack or system breach occurred on the Trump Mobile network, systems, or infrastructure.

According to the spokesperson, the data exposure is linked to a third-party platform supporting Trump Mobile operations. However, the name of this provider has not been disclosed. The incident was acknowledged after reports surfaced on social media several days ago claiming that user data was publicly accessible.

On Wednesday, researchers and YouTubers Coffeezilla and penguinz0, who ordered Trump Mobile phones, stated they had warned the company about the data leak. They attempted to contact the company, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Trump Mobile management is currently considering whether to officially notify its customers about the situation. This incident has heightened concerns regarding user privacy and data security.
