Starship's new generation heat shield shows 100 percent results

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk commented on the condition of the Starship spacecraft's heat shield after the latest test flight. Network users noted that the heat shield tiles were exceptionally well-preserved after atmospheric reentry. A user named Mookafish pointed this out, noting it was the cleanest shield among returning ships. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
Elon Musk posted this update on his page, briefly responding: "Not a single burn-through. The shield held up." Starship's heat shield tiles are one of the most critical elements in the ship's reusable system. During atmospheric reentry, the vehicle's surface faces extreme heating, and any damage to the shield could lead to the destruction of the craft.
The 12th flight confirmed that SpaceX has achieved massive success in improving the Starship heat shield system. Previously, it was reported that Starship launched all 20 Starlink satellite simulators as well as two modified Starlink satellites adapted for imaging into orbit.
As a reminder, SpaceX set a new record during the 12th flight. The rocket carried approximately 45 tons of Starlink mass simulators into orbit. Currently, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has not made a final decision on whether an investigation into any incidents following this flight is necessary.
