Kinopoisk updated: Personal profiles, TV channel rewinding, and games
The Yandex team has introduced major updates for its Kinopoisk online cinema. Users can now customize their personal profiles. It is possible to select a custom background and description for the page, as well as adjust privacy settings by hiding viewing history and ratings. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
A TV channel rewind feature has been added to the web version, iOS app, and smart TV applications. Live broadcasts can now be rewound up to four hours. A special slider in the player allows users to jump to any point in the broadcast.
In mobile apps, trailers now play automatically when visiting movie and series pages. Users can also purchase the "Smotrim" subscription, which provides access to exclusive content.
The "Igromir" section for TVs now allows playing games purchased on the Steam platform and free-to-play titles. Currently, this section is active on devices running the YaOS X operating system, and it will soon appear on TVs with YaOS and Android TV.
