Thousands left without gas in Tashkent region due to accident

On February 28, a gas leak in the Yukori-Chirchik district of Tashkent region left thousands of residents without gas supply, reports the press service of \"Hududgazta’minot\".
The accident was caused by an excavator damaging a high-pressure gas pipeline. As a result, the following areas were affected:
- 2,500 residents
- 7 major consumers
- Mahallas: \"Korsoy\", \"Navruz\", \"Jambul\", and \"Kizil Emek\"
Emergency services are working on-site to restore supply. Authorities have apologized for the inconvenience caused to residents.
Earlier, a similar incident occurred in Samarkand, where thousands of homes were left without gas after a truck damaged a high-pressure gas pipeline.
