Attention! Eid al-Adha and additional public holidays announced

In Uzbekistan, continuous public holidays have been announced for citizens as Eid al-Adha falls on Wednesday, May 27 this year. According to the Presidential decree, May 28-29 have been designated as additional non-working days for everyone.
Additionally, May 30 has been added as a day off for those working a 6-day schedule. As a result, including Sunday, May 31, all segments of the population will have 5 consecutive days off.
The holidays are distributed as follows:
- May 27 — Wednesday (Eid al-Adha),
- May 28 — Thursday (additional day off),
- May 29 — Friday (additional day off),
- May 30 — Saturday (additional day off for 6-day workers),
- May 31 — Sunday (regular day off).
It can be said that this provides the population with 5 continuous days of rest. Those working 5 days a week will have a total of 14 days off, and those working 6 days will have 10 days off. It is noted that this month has the highest number of holidays in recent years.
