Mirziyoyev and Fico meeting: Official welcoming ceremony in Kuksaroy

On June 9, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence in Tashkent on the occasion of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico. This event is expected to open a new chapter in the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

A guard of honor was gathered in a solemn square in front of the residence. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the high-ranking guest and invited him to the podium.

During the ceremony, the national anthems of both countries - Uzbekistan and Slovakia - were played by a military orchestra. The leaders of the countries passed through the guard of honor and shook hands with members of the official delegations.

After that, an official photo session was held and high-level negotiations began. It is expected to discuss issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia in the political, economic, trade-investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

According to the results of the negotiations, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents and reach agreements on the implementation of practical projects.

It is hoped that the visit of the Prime Minister of Slovakia to Uzbekistan will further strengthen relations between the two countries, open new opportunities for new projects and joint initiatives.
