New 615-hectare Sangardak tourism center to open in Surxondaryo
A major new tourism center “Sangardak” will be built in Surxondaryo region, according to the regional administration. The project is valued at 913.3 billion UZS, with a planned area of 615 hectares.

The center will include:
• 4 three-star and 2 five-star hotels;
• 10 guest houses;
• a sanatorium and cultural center;
• 21 restaurants, cafes and bars;
• 296 retail outlets;
• a 1.6 km cableway, zipline, and picnic zones.

Additionally, the “Nilu” mahalla will be transformed into a tourist village. Concrete works for the cableway pillars and launch platform have been completed.
