Shavkat Mirziyoyev welcomes Jordanian King at Samarkand Airport

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit on August 25.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev welcomed the King at the Samarkand airport.

The state flags of the two countries were raised in honor of the high-ranking guest, and a guard of honor was formed. A solemn ceremony was held, including national songs and dances.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for August 26. Today, the heads of state will jointly visit the historical monuments of ancient Samarkand.
