UFA will pay a $340,000 fine for giving BYD as a gift to national team members

According to Uz24.uz, after the Uzbekistan – Qatar match concluded on June 10 of this year, bringing BYD cars onto the field to reward the football players was considered a violation of the rules.

Details of the fine:

– According to the decision of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) disciplinary committee, the Uzbekistan Football Association was fined 340 thousand US dollars.

– The AFC requires hosts: only official sponsors' brands should be displayed in and around the stadium.

– Because each hosting team is paid funds for World Cup qualifying matches, and Uzbekistan was fined for not fulfilling this requirement.
