107 drivers in Uzbekistan risk losing their licenses

Control over drivers who repeatedly violate traffic rules is being tightened in Uzbekistan. 107 drivers across the country have been identified as having accumulated more than 12 penalty points. Their cases have now been sent to court to consider the revocation of their driver's licenses.

This is one of the important measures aimed at strengthening order on the roads, increasing driver responsibility, and, most importantly, ensuring human safety. The penalty point system is not just a number; it shows how careful or, conversely, how negligent a driver is regarding traffic rules.

According to reports, cases of drivers exceeding 12 points will be reviewed in court. If a relevant decision is made, they will be deprived of the right to drive for a certain period. This serves as a serious warning: every traffic violation can eventually lead to major problems.

Another important aspect is that a person who has been deprived of their license cannot simply get it back through a standard procedure. Such a driver must first complete a full training course at a driving school, after which they must pass an exam based on the new rules.

The exam is quite rigorous: the driver is asked 50 questions and must answer at least 46 correctly. In other words, there is no room for shortcuts. Knowing, understanding, and being able to apply the rules in practice is mandatory.

Experts believe this approach encourages drivers to take traffic rules more seriously, as anyone behind the wheel is responsible not only for their own life but also for the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other road users.

In short, the situation involving these 107 drivers should serve as a serious lesson for many. Haste, negligence, or a "nothing will happen" attitude on the road can lead to losing one's license. Following the rules is not just about avoiding fines, but about protecting yourself and others. Driving wisely is the cheapest and most effective "insurance."
