Warning before Eid al-Adha: prices must not be artificially inflated

The Competition Committee has issued an important appeal to major retail chains and shopping centers on the eve of Eid al-Adha. It strongly recommended not to unreasonably increase food prices against the backdrop of rising public demand before the holiday.
According to the Committee, it is currently important to maintain stable prices for socially significant products for which demand may be high. Therefore, all trade entities were reminded of the need to maintain fairness and responsibility in their pricing policies.
It was also emphasized that suppliers must inform the Committee in a timely manner about potential price changes, logistics costs, or other factors.
Retail chains and shopping complexes have been given clear instructions to prevent artificial price increases by suppliers.
