Our U-20 girls lost in the match against South Korea

The Uzbekistan national youth team held its next match within the framework of the 2026 U-20 Women's Asian Cup. In this match, which took place at the Nonthaburi Stadium in Thailand, our girls played against South Korea and lost 2:0.
During the match, the opposing team tried to seize the initiative and managed to open the score near the end of the first half. A goal scored by Jin Hye Rin in the 43rd minute gave the Koreans the advantage. In the second half, the opponent did not reduce the pressure and in the 72nd minute, Cho Hyo Yang took advantage of the penalty kick to increase the score even more.
Nevertheless, our team did not stop fighting on the field and tried to organize a number of dangerous attacks. However, in the end, the score did not change and the match was decided in favor of the Koreans.

Of course, this result was not what the fans expected. However, for a young team, such tournaments are a great learning experience. Every game, even a defeat, serves as an important lesson for future growth and development.

The most important thing now is not to get discouraged. The tournament is not over yet, so there is still a chance. Our girls have character - now it's time to turn it into results.
