The Uzbekistan national football team has begun the most important journey in its history. On the morning of May 26, our representatives flew to the USA via a Tashkent–New York flight. Head coach Fabio Cannavaro is taking 30 players to the USA for the World Cup preparation process. Later, 26 players will be selected for the final World Cup squad. On May 22, at the Bunyodkor Stadium, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the members of the national team to wish the players luck and success.
