The Bayern dilemma: Stuttgart divided over goalkeeper situation

Stuttgart's talented goalkeeper Dennis Seimen is close to securing a spot in the starting XI, but serious disagreements have emerged between the club's management and the coaching staff. According to Stuttgarter Nachrichten, two opposing factions have formed within the team. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Head coach Sebastian Hoeneß and sporting directors Fabian Wohlgemuth and Christian Gentner emphasize that trusting an inexperienced young goalkeeper in prestigious competitions like the Champions League is a major risk. They believe that while Dennis Seimen is talented, errors under such high pressure could prove costly for the team.
For this reason, club officials are exploring options to sign a new goalkeeper from outside. Candidates include Finn Dahmen, Noah Atubolu, and the experienced Bernd Leno. A permanent transfer for Alexander Nübel, currently on loan from Bayern, is considered financially unfeasible.
However, the club's board of directors opposes bringing in a new goalkeeper. They believe that the path of a promising prospect like Dennis Seimen should not be blocked. Furthermore, they argue that funds earmarked for a new transfer should be directed toward strengthening other weak areas of the squad.
Currently, Stuttgart also has another talented young goalkeeper, Florian Hellstern, at its disposal. The 18-year-old is gaining experience in the third division, but he is also expected to compete for a first-team spot in the future.
