Marcus Rashford expected to leave Manchester United for Barcelona

Catalan club Barcelona is preparing to start a new round of negotiations with Manchester United for the transfer of England forward Marcus Rashford. Reports suggest the club has already agreed on personal terms with the player. Head coach Hansi Flick considers Rashford a key player for his attacking plans, according to Goal.com reports.
Barcelona is accelerating efforts to sign the player permanently following a successful loan spell in Spain. According to talkSPORT, the Catalans aim to reach an agreement with Manchester United before the 2026 World Cup. Last season, Rashford made 49 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists.
Manchester United's management remains firm in its stance. The Premier League side is demanding €30 million for the player and is not open to another loan deal. The "Red Devils" aim to offload Rashford permanently to clear his high wages and raise funds for a squad rebuild.
Barcelona sporting director Deco is exploring options to lower the transfer fee or structure payments in installments. Although names like Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez and Chelsea's Joao Pedro are on the club's list, Marcus Rashford remains the primary target for Hansi Flick. The player himself has indicated he has no intention of returning to Old Trafford.
