Polestar plans to maintain its premium status

Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller is confident that the brand's entry into the mass segment will not compromise its premium status. The company aims to significantly increase its sales volume while maintaining its connection with Volvo. This is reported by Autocar.co.uk reports .
The Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer is preparing to introduce a universal version of the Polestar 4 crossover and the Polestar 7 compact crossover, which is technically closely related to Volvo, in the coming years. These steps are part of a strategy to increase the brand's annual sales from 60,000 to 100,000 units and achieve sustainable profitability.
Lohscheller emphasized that although the new models are aimed at the mass market, they will not lose Polestar's signature sporty style and design. Each model will stand out from both competitors and the Volvo models that share the technical platform, thanks to its unique chassis settings and exterior.
The company continues its design and engineering work at its center in Sweden, focusing on infusing the Polestar DNA into every vehicle. The commercial launch of the Polestar 5 flagship GT model and the presentation of the Polestar 4 universal are expected in the coming months.
