A boat crashed into rocky shore in Greece, killing two women

On Thursday evening, a boat carrying migrants crashed into a rocky shore near the Greek island of Chios. It was reported that two migrants died as a result of the incident.

According to the Greek Coast Guard, aid teams managed to rescue a total of 5 people from the water. Two of them were unconscious. As a result of ongoing search operations on land, 24 more people were found and rescued.

A total of 12 victims were taken to a hospital on the island of Chios. Unfortunately, two of them - a woman - died. The scientists are currently studying the causes of the catastrophe.
