Uzbek business delegation visits Afghanistan

To further develop trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, a delegation of nearly 100 Uzbek entrepreneurs led by Davron Vahobov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, has arrived in Afghanistan. After crossing the Termez border customs post, the guests were welcomed by the leadership of Balkh Province and representatives of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation first visited the logistics center owned by the "Astras" company, located near the Uzbekistan–Afghanistan border. During the visit, they became closely acquainted with the center's operations, as well as the processes for receiving and storing cargo and organizing export-import operations.
Following this, the delegation members visited the Naibabad railway station to receive detailed information about freight services, logistics mechanisms, and existing infrastructure capabilities. Additionally, the entrepreneurial environment and business opportunities in the region were explored at the "Mozori Hotel" trade center in Mazar-i-Sharif.
The visit of the Uzbek delegation to Afghanistan is ongoing. As part of the program, a series of meetings and negotiations aimed at expanding bilateral trade and economic relations are planned.
