Football Fan Banned for Three Years
In February, a controversy arose during the English Championship match between Leeds and Sunderland. A supporter of the "Black Cats" club racially insulted Leeds players, specifically targeting black players Ethan Ampadu and Largie Ramazani.

The victimized players were unable to identify the individual responsible for the abuse. However, the club managed to identify the culprit using surveillance footage. Recordings revealed that a 68-year-old man named Stephen Patterson performed a monkey dance and made insulting gestures directed at the black players.

For his actions, Patterson was banned from entering the stadium for three years (it is unclear whether this restriction applies only to Leeds’ Elland Road stadium or to all football games) and was fined £346.
