Official: GTA VI release date announced
The release date for GTA VI has been finally confirmed — the long-awaited project will go on sale on November 19, 2026. Take-Two officially announced this in its financial report. The company also emphasized that the release will not be delayed again. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
According to CEO Strauss Zelnick, a large-scale advertising campaign for GTA VI will launch this summer. Fans are expecting the third trailer to be released in the coming months. Against the backdrop of this news, Take-Two Interactive shares rose by approximately 7 percent.
The company is betting heavily on this release: revenue is expected to grow to $8–8.2 billion (approx. +20%) in fiscal year 2027. Management directly links this sharp growth to GTA VI sales, which virtually eliminates the possibility of further delays for investors.
As a reminder, GTA VI will initially be released only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. There is no official information yet regarding the PC version, which is expected to be released at a later date.
