Beeline and LizaAlert launch 022 short number for search of missing persons

Operator VimpelCom (Beeline brand) announced the launch of the 022 short number. The operator's press service explained that another emergency number has appeared in Russia for cases of missing or lost persons. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

The launch of this project is dedicated to International Missing Children's Day, celebrated on May 25. The new number complements the existing federal number 8-800-700-54-52 and significantly simplifies the process of requesting help.

According to Grigory Sergeyev, chairman of the LizaAlert squad, other telecom operators will join this initiative over time, making the 022 number available to all residents of Russia.
