Specialized launches Vado 3 X e-bike with 150 km range

The world-renowned bicycle manufacturer Specialized has introduced its new Vado 3 X model. The new device has entered the market in two versions: the $5,500 Vado 3 X 4.0 and the $8,000 Vado 3 X 6.0. The main feature of this series is its full-suspension design. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

The Vado 3 X model inherits its electronics and power units from other members of the Vado 3 family. The bike is powered by the latest Specialized 3.1 electric system, featuring 105 Nm of torque and 810 W of peak power. The power source is an 840 Wh battery, which allows for a range of up to 150 kilometers on a single charge.

For users needing more autonomy, there is an option to extend the range further by connecting an additional 280 Wh external battery. The handlebars feature a 2.2-inch MasterMind C4 touchscreen display and a special mount with wireless charging for smartphones.

Thanks to Bluetooth support, the system can be synchronized with a smartphone. This allows for real-time tracking of speed, distance, and battery level. The Specialized app for Apple Watch monitors heart rate during rides.

The new model comes fully equipped with all necessary accessories, including fenders, a rack, a kickstand, a bell, and an integrated lighting system. The front headlight features a high-beam function with up to 805 lumens of brightness. Customers are offered four metallic body colors.
