Yandex users have raised over 1.6 billion rubles for charity
According to the report from Yandex's "Pomosh ryadom" foundation, the total support for non-profit organizations exceeded 2.2 billion rubles in 2025. Of this amount, 1.6 billion rubles were donated by users, with Yandex itself contributing an additional 673 million rubles. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
Over five years, more than 1.6 million people have joined this initiative by rounding up their order totals in Yandex services. Rounding alone generated over 1.5 billion rubles. These funds are being directed toward purchasing food, medicine, organizing taxi services, and delivering parcels.
On December 27, 2025, a charity record was set: users rounded up 2.58 million rubles in a single day. The service with the highest donations was Yandex Taxi: users rounded up their trip costs over 120 million times, raising more than 998 million rubles.
Food orders have also become a regular source of support. Users of Yandex Eda and Delivery donated over 267 million rubles through rounding. In honor of the five-year anniversary report, a portion of the proceeds from special products in Yandex Lavka and Yandex Museum will also be donated to charity.
The "Pomosh ryadom" foundation helps non-profit organizations solve social problems using technology. In addition to organizing taxi and delivery services, the foundation provides access to Yandex services and grants for social advertising.
