The US-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council has launched its activities

Saida Mirziyoyeva announced the official launch of the new U.S.-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council in Washington, D.C. The move is aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and further developing business ties between the two countries.

The head of the presidential administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, noted that the establishment of the council will create a solid institutional foundation for joint business initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Uzbekistan and the United States, which is expected to make a significant contribution to strengthening investment cooperation in the future. Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that the establishment of this council was based on the high level of trust and cooperation between the presidents of the two countries.

According to the Council\'s co-chair, US Ambassador Sergio Gore, over the past year the US has taken significant steps to strengthen strategic partnerships in Central Asia.
