In January-February 2026, 70.2% of construction work in Uzbekistan was carried out on the construction of buildings and structures.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the largest share in the distribution by type of economic activity falls on the construction of buildings and structures.
During this period, the volume of construction work was:
Direction of construction of buildings and structures - 20.5 trillion soums
Direction of construction of civil facilities - 5.5 trillion soums
Specialized construction works - 3.2 trillion soums
These indicators show that the construction of buildings and structures still maintains its dominance in the construction market.
