Reports have emerged that a restriction on holding lavish school graduation parties has been reintroduced in Uzbekistan. According to the new regulations, organizing graduation ceremonies in restaurants, cafes, and other catering establishments is prohibited.
It is noted that this restriction applies not only to restaurants and cafes but also to holding large gatherings in private homes and organizing mass outings. Furthermore, it is emphasized that collecting money from students for festive banquets is not permitted.
It is noted that this rule applies equally to all general education schools in the country. The goal is to conduct graduation events in a simple and orderly manner without excessive expenses.
Meanwhile, the decision is being widely discussed on social media, with users expressing various jokes and opinions. Some ironically write that this year's graduation parties will at most take place in simple home courtyards.
