$1.47 Billion Withdrawn from Crypto Funds

According to a CoinShares report, $1.47 billion was withdrawn from crypto investment products over the past week. This marks the second consecutive week of outflows, with Bitcoin funds accounting for the majority of the losses. In the previous week, $1.07 billion was withdrawn from crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs). This is reported by news source.

Bitcoin products led the outflows with approximately $1.3 billion, marking the largest weekly decline of 2026. Meanwhile, Ether funds lost $223 million. Currently, total assets under management (AUM) in crypto ETPs stand at $148.7 billion, with 80%, or $120.2 billion, held in Bitcoin funds.

James Butterfill, head of research at CoinShares, noted that these sell-offs are linked to investors adopting cautious measures amid rising geopolitical risks related to Iran, despite shifts regarding the CLARITY Act. Nevertheless, some altcoins continue to show positive dynamics.

Among altcoins, XRP led the way by attracting $31.8 million in investment. Solana (SOL) saw inflows of $7.7 million, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) received $72.3 million. Additionally, smaller investments were made in projects such as Sui (SUI) and Chainlink (LINK). Short Bitcoin products added $10.2 million, confirming the overall bearish sentiment in the market.
