“Even after the match, we didn’t immediately realize what we had done. You could say we beat one of the strongest systems of the 21st century in the football industry. This match has gone down in history not only for us, but for Norwegians and for Norwegian sport as a whole,” Khaykin said on the VideoSports program.
The goalkeeper also emphasized that this result is one of the most important wins of his career.
Bodø/Glimt are currently 28th in the Champions League table with six points.
