Central Bank of Uzbekistan sets US dollar exchange rate for April 24

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates for April 24, revealing a general decline in the value of major foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum. The US dollar decreased by 26.53 soums to 12,015.96 soums, while the Euro saw a more significant drop of 96.06 soums, falling to 14,051.46 soums. Other international currencies, including the Russian ruble, British pound, and Chinese yuan, also followed this downward trend. This collective depreciation marks a period of relative strengthening for the national currency across the board.
Official exchange rates have been announced for April 24, 2026.
According to the data, the US dollar decreased by 26.53 soums, reaching 12,015.96 soums.
The Euro fell by 96.06 soums to 14,051.46 soums.
The Russian ruble dropped by 0.25 soums, standing at 160.30 soums.
The British pound decreased by 59.9 soums to 16,222.75 soums.
The Japanese yen weakened by 0.35 soums, amounting to 75.22 soums.
The Swiss franc fell by 112.31 soums to 15,303.06 soums.
The Chinese yuan decreased by 6.57 soums, totaling 1,758.34 soums.
