Uzbek girls enter the ring for Asian final spots

Today, the semi-final bouts of the Asian Junior Boxing Championships will take place. At this stage, 12 representatives of the Uzbekistan national team will step into the ring to compete for a spot in the final.
This stage is of great importance for every athlete. A victory in the semi-finals means reaching the final, securing at least a silver medal, and taking another step toward the Asian title. Therefore, every punch, movement, and decision in today's bouts carries significant weight.
The Uzbekistan boxing school is proving that it is growing stronger year by year, not only among men but also among women. The fact that 12 of our representatives have reached the semi-finals is evidence of the serious potential within our national team.

-60 kg: Salomatxon Sardorova — Xinyi Sui, China
-63 kg: Mehrimax Qilicheva — Xinyuyelin Tian, China
-66 kg: Diyora Bo‘riboyeva — Di Qiao, China
-70 kg: Karina Ilmuratova — Ailin Xojamberdiyeva, Kazakhstan
-75 kg: Lobar Shaymanova — Diana Nadirbek, Kazakhstan
-80 kg: Feruzabonu Kamolova — Vanshika, India
+80 kg: Sohibaxon Xudoyberdiyeva — Xan Huyen Truong, Vietnam
The bouts will start at 14:00 at the Martial Arts Hall of the Olympic Village. Fans can watch the matches live on the Sport TV channel.
According to the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, today's program will be very demanding for our representatives. It is clear that the bouts against athletes from Kazakhstan, Japan, Mongolia, Vietnam, India, and China will not be easy.
Mental preparation plays a major role, especially in the semi-finals. It is not just about strength or technique; patience, composure, and confidence until the end are decisive. The situation can change in the ring in just two minutes — that is what makes boxing so exciting.
