Following the 1-0 victory over Wolfsburg, sporting director Christoph Freund emphasized the importance of rest for the players. According to him, the last few weeks have been very demanding for the team, and numerous away matches have left the players exhausted.
After a painful defeat in the Champions League, Bayern has shifted its focus to the domestic league and cup matches. In the match against Wolfsburg, goalkeeper Jonas Urbig made several crucial saves, preventing inevitable goals.
The squad will return to training on Wednesday. Bayern will play its final match of the season on May 16 against Koln, and the championship trophy will be presented to the team after this encounter.
