Samsung concludes One UI 8.5 beta program for Galaxy S24

According to Sammobile, Samsung has officially concluded the open beta testing program for the One UI 8.5 skin for the Galaxy S24 series smartphones. The testing process lasted about a month and a half, and the company is now preparing to release the stable version. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

Currently, the new firmware is only available to Galaxy S25 users in South Korea. However, experts believe that owners of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are also expected to receive this update within the current week.

The One UI 8.5 update includes changes based on Android 16 QPR2. Users can also look forward to a more modern interface design and expanded settings management capabilities.

Furthermore, Samsung has redesigned most of its system applications. These changes ensure full alignment with the new visual style of the software and further enhance the user experience.
