Rio Ferdinand advises Manchester United to sign Robert Lewandowski

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has recommended that his former club sign Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski during the summer transfer window. As the team under Michael Carrick secures a Champions League spot, Ferdinand emphasized that the experienced Polish forward is the ideal candidate to strengthen the attack. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
In an interview on his YouTube channel, Ferdinand suggested that the 37-year-old striker could be an excellent mentor for Benjamin Sesko. "If the club wants to bring in another striker, Lewandowski is not a bad option. Look at his experience; imagine how much Sesko could learn from him," said the former defender.
Manchester United spent £74 million on Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig last season. The 22-year-old forward has started to prove himself, scoring 11 goals in the Premier League. Ferdinand believes the arrival of a world-class star like Lewandowski would greatly assist the young striker's development and the team's Champions League campaign.
Although the veteran's wages are expected to be high, Ferdinand insists the transfer makes logical sense. Lewandowski, who is on the verge of parting ways with Barcelona, could move to Manchester as a free agent. Fans are now waiting to see if the club's management will follow Ferdinand's bold advice.
