Update provided on the condition of a girl who lost her legs in a severe traffic accident in Olmaliq

Earlier, reports circulated that a motorcycle had struck a 15-year-old girl in the city of Olmaliq, resulting in the amputation of her legs. Currently, the victim is being treated in the intensive care unit of the city's central hospital.
It is reported that the patient was brought to the hospital around 23:30 on May 14. Doctors provided immediate medical assistance and performed surgery.
It is stated that during the operation, the girl's left leg was amputated below the knee. Her right leg was placed in a cast up to the ankle. Additionally, abrasions and wounds on her body were cleaned, and initial medical treatments were administered. After the surgery, the patient was transferred to the intensive care unit and received a blood transfusion.
According to doctors, she is currently being prepared for transfer to a general ward.
As a reminder, this traffic accident occurred on May 14 of this year in Olmaliq. According to the regional Traffic Safety Department, at approximately 23:00 on Amir Temur Street, a driver born in 2003, S.F., while riding a motorcycle, struck a girl born in 2011 who was crossing the road in an undesignated area.
Currently, the Olmaliq City Internal Affairs Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
