Mother gives interview following Parkent incident (video)

It was previously reported that a 37-year-old woman who insulted and threatened her mother in the Parkent district was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention.
After this incident sparked widespread public discussion, the victimized mother recently gave an interview. She spoke in detail about her life and what she has endured.
The mother stated that she lives in the Qoraqalpoq village of the Parkent district and identified herself as Mastura Tursunxojayevna Abduraimova. She emphasized that she adopted a daughter in 1988, named Zumrad Yoqubova, and raised her as her own, never treating her as a stepchild.
“I raised her as my own child. I gave her even more love than I gave my own children. I never treated her like a stepchild and did everything good I could for her,” the mother said.
She also spoke about financial and domestic problems that arose in the family, noting that some property and funds were lost, and the family environment had become difficult.
“My good husband also suffered. The newly purchased car was damaged, and expenses increased. I had sold two milking cows, and that money also disappeared. She is not leaving my daughters in peace either,” she said.
The situation is currently being thoroughly investigated.
