A comprehensive social support program will be implemented in Uzbekistan in honor of the Eid al-Adha holiday. Approved under the President's initiative, this aid package covers orphans, neglected children, families of fallen military personnel, children with serious illnesses, and needy citizens.

According to reports, over 8,000 orphans, neglected children, and children of fallen military personnel will receive $200 each in targeted fund accounts. This aid aims to provide financial support and ensure they feel care and attention on the eve of the holiday.

One of the program's key areas involves medical assistance. Financing is planned for surgical operations for 10,000 children suffering from serious illnesses. Additionally, the treatment of 2,300 oncology patients will be covered under this social package.

Furthermore, 350 organ transplant operations are planned. This is a matter of life and hope for many families. For those battling severe illnesses, such aid is not just financial support, but a new opportunity and a path to recovery.

Food packages will be delivered to needy citizens and persons with disabilities. During a holiday of kindness and generosity like Eid al-Adha, such support strengthens the atmosphere of compassion, solidarity, and humanity in society.

The program also focuses on religious and spiritual sites. Specifically, the renovation of 500 mosques and the improvement of cemeteries are planned. These efforts serve to create comfortable conditions for the population and maintain pilgrimage and worship sites.

The total funding volume amounts to 690 billion soums. Funds are to be allocated by the Vaqf Foundation. This large-scale aid package is an important step toward supporting vulnerable segments of the population during the holidays.

In short, this program implemented for Eid al-Adha will be vital support for thousands of children, patients, the needy, and persons with disabilities. The true spirit of the holiday lies in this — not leaving those in need alone, showing kindness through action, and increasing goodness in society.
