Truck catches fire on Navoi-Bukhara road, cause under investigation

Yesterday, May 22, a fire involving a truck occurred on a highway passing through the Navoi region. The regional Emergency Situations Department provided official information regarding the incident.

It is reported that at around 20:29, a truck traveling on the 192nd kilometer of the M-37 highway in the Navoi-Bukhara direction suddenly caught fire. The incident, which occurred while the vehicle was in motion, caused serious concern for the driver and those nearby.

Upon receiving the report, fire and rescue crews from the Emergency Situations Service immediately headed to the scene. The rescuers acted quickly, containing the flames in a short time and successfully extinguishing the fire.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. However, it is estimated that the vehicle sustained significant material damage.

Currently, relevant authorities are investigating the causes of the fire. Experts emphasize the importance of regular technical inspections and strict adherence to safety regulations to prevent such incidents.
