Two private employment agencies lose their licenses

The licenses of two private employment agencies operating in the field of placing citizens for work abroad have been terminated in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Migration Agency.
According to the report, the license granted to "Workmall Private Employment Agency" for placing individuals seeking work outside the Republic of Uzbekistan was canceled based on the agency's own application. This request was submitted on May 10, 2026.
Additionally, the license of "Etos Private Employment Agency" was also terminated. This decision was also made based on the agency's application dated May 20, 2026. Thus, in both cases, the license activity was concluded not at the initiative of the state body, but in accordance with the agencies' own requests.
The Migration Agency notes that, in accordance with the Law "On Private Employment Agencies," private employment agencies are prohibited from providing services for placing citizens for work abroad. This requirement is aimed at protecting citizens from various risks, fraud, and uncertain agreements during the process of external labor migration.
Such information is very important for citizens wishing to work abroad. It is necessary to check the activities of organizations offering various services with promises of employment and pay attention to their legal status. Otherwise, people may face problems related to money, time, and documents.
In this regard, citizens are requested to contact the Migration Agency by June 20 of this year if they have any appeals or complaints regarding the activities of these agencies. During this period, relevant applications can be reviewed.
Experts recommend that citizens planning to work abroad obtain information only through official sources and be cautious regarding contracts and payment issues. Especially before believing promises like "we will place you in a job quickly" or "guaranteed high salary," it is necessary to check the legal activity of the organization.
In short, the licenses of "Workmall" and "Etos" private employment agencies for placing citizens for work abroad have been terminated based on their own applications. Citizens are advised to contact the Migration Agency by June 20 if they have any complaints or appeals related to these agencies. When it comes to working abroad, "verify then trust" is the best approach.
