Today, May 23, a fire was reported in one of the buildings under construction in the town of Keles, Tashkent District, Tashkent Region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations provided official information regarding this incident.

According to the report, at approximately 13:39, the Tashkent Regional Emergency Situations Department received a signal about a fire at a construction site located on Olmazor Street in the town. The report was processed promptly, and rescue forces were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Two fire and rescue units arrived at the location at 13:45 and brought the fire under control in a short time. Specifically, the flames were contained by 13:48 and fully extinguished by 13:54.

According to preliminary data, the fire occurred in the basement of the building. As a result, construction waste burned over an area of approximately 40 square meters, causing some damage. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties.

Experts are currently investigating the causes of the fire. The extent of the material damage is also being determined. Initial assumptions suggest a failure to comply with safety regulations during construction or careless handling of flammable materials.

This incident once again highlights the importance of strictly adhering to fire safety requirements at construction sites. Negligence of this kind can potentially lead to significant losses.
