Cobalt driver who split a Tracker in two jailed

An administrative jail sentence has been imposed on a Cobalt driver who caused a serious traffic accident in Bukhara. This was reported by the press service of the Bukhara regional courts.

It is reported that the incident occurred on March 30 at the intersection of Davlatobod and Oqmasjid streets. A 21-year-old driver, while operating a Cobalt vehicle, collided with a Tracker at the intersection. Due to the force of the impact, the Tracker vehicle split into two parts.

During the investigation, it was determined that the driver had grossly violated traffic rules. The court found him guilty of failing to obey traffic light signals, causing material damage due to traffic violations, and leaving the scene of the accident.

It is noted that the damage caused by the accident, amounting to nearly 100 million soums, has been covered by the driver.

According to the decision of the Bukhara City Criminal Court, the Cobalt driver was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention. He is currently serving his sentence.
