Joao Palhinha could leave Tottenham and return to Sporting

Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha could make a surprise career move. According to A Bola, the Portuguese player, currently on loan at Tottenham, wants to return to his former club, Sporting. This is reported by Goal.com reports .

Sporting's management plans to strengthen their central midfield with Palhinha following the potential transfer of Morten Hjulmand. The player is ready to sign a three-year contract with the Lisbon club, but the main issue remains the transfer fee demanded by Bayern.

Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi intends to keep the player and is ready to activate the €30 million buyout clause. Nevertheless, Palhinha prefers to leave the Premier League and return to Portugal.
