Russia's new Soyuz-5 rocket prepares for serial production

Roscosmos has completed the testing phase for the new Soyuz-5 launch vehicle and plans to transition to serial production. According to the organization's head, Dmitry Bakanov, the second and third flight models are currently being prepared, after which the rocket will move to full-scale serial production. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
The Soyuz-5 rocket is equipped with the RD-171, considered the world's most powerful liquid-propellant rocket engine. This technological solution allows the rocket to carry payloads of up to 18.5 tons into low Earth orbit. Experts emphasize that the rocket's technical specifications fully meet current modern global standards.
As part of the development of the space industry, Russia is also expanding its infrastructure. In particular, the country plans to build its first private spaceport, which is expected to host up to 50 rocket launches per year.
