Xiaomi introduces compact washing machine with two drums

Xiaomi has unveiled the new Mijia Mini Dual-Zone Washing and Drying Machine 1kg in the Chinese market. This device is primarily designed for washing underwear, socks, towels, and baby clothes, standing out with its dual-drum construction. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

The new model features two independent washing zones (0.5 kg each) and two drying zones (0.2 kg each). This solution allows for sorting clothes by type and prevents cross-contamination. The device is equipped with separate water supply and drainage systems.

Special attention is paid to hygiene: the machine supports washing at 95 degrees Celsius and automatic drum cleaning using hot steam. The device is also equipped with an intelligent drying system that monitors temperature in real time.

There are 23 washing programs available for users, which can be controlled via the Mi Home app. The device supports HyperOS Smart Connect, Xiao Ai voice control, and OTA updates. Occupying less than 0.2 square meters, this machine can wash 14 pairs of socks or 15 pieces of underwear in one cycle.

The device is currently available for pre-order at a price of 1499 yuan (approximately $220), with official sales starting on May 30.
