Most exemplary ministries awarded at event attended by President

Reforms aimed at building the foundation of New Uzbekistan and adapting the public administration system to modern requirements continue to bear fruit. As a summary of the consistent updates being implemented in our country, the names of the most advanced ministries and agencies that have shown special dedication in implementing the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy were officially announced at a high-level event attended by our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the results of comprehensive analyses, the primary executor in ensuring the rule of law and providing legal assistance to the population in our country, the Ministry of Justice is the most exemplary ministry was recognized as such. It is noted that this system was able to become an open, modern, and fully digitized convenient justice institution for the population in a short period.

Today, launched by the ministry:

  • 30 special electronic platforms have transferred 380 public services to a fully digital format;

  • more than 780 types of services are being successfully used by our compatriots online without leaving their homes.

Revolutionary results in Geology and Internal Affairs systems

Also, one of the sectors determining the economic power of our country — the Ministry of Mining and Geology was deemed worthy of the "Most Exemplary Ministry" nomination in the direction of rational and efficient management of existing underground and surface resources. Due to innovative reforms carried out in the system, during geological exploration works, valuable water consumption was saved by exactly 20 percent. Most joyfully, the level of localization of main technological equipment and spare parts in the mining sector in our country reached a high indicator of 84 percent .

While ensuring the safety and tranquility of the population, in creating convenience for citizens, the Ministry of Internal Affairs also recorded high results. The agency was specially recognized for fundamental changes and positive indicators in providing public services. Currently, 95 percent of services in the MIA system are provided to our people in a fully digital form . Furthermore, 72 large databases that were previously scattered were successfully integrated into a single, perfect "Safe City" information system.

High positions and reserve of new leaders

The head of our state also personally awarded a number of civil servants who contributed sincerely to the development of the sector and achieved high results. In order to encourage these robust employees who are becoming a true example in the system and to utilize their potential effectively, Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed the historic initiative to immediately promote the winners by one rank and include them in the reserve of promising leadership personnel at the republic level.

In his speech, our President also touched upon future plans, firmly stating that starting from the next stage, local administrations will also be required to participate in the "Quality Public Administration" program, which is spreading widely in our country. According to our leader, the ultimate result of any productive reform carried out in our country and the satisfaction of our people must be clearly felt, first of all, at the lowest level — the district and city level.
