In 2025, maximum efforts will be made to limit the sale of Ai-80 gasoline

By presidential decree, officials were instructed to “mobilize all forces and means” to limit the sale of AI-80 gasoline by the end of 2025. According to the decree, in this process, the population should be provided with high-quality, environmentally friendly and affordable fuel.

By presidential decree, the state program for 2025 was approved. According to the decree, all forces and resources will be mobilized to fulfill the following two tasks by the end of 2025:

• limit the use and sale of AI-80 automobile fuel, while providing the population with high-quality, environmentally friendly and affordable fuel;
  
• A complete ban on the use of fuel oil as fuel for heat and electricity generation enterprises located in all regions of the republic (except for cases of use as emergency fuel with notification to the Ministry of Ecology and in agreement with the Cabinet of Ministers).
  

It should be recalled that by the presidential decree adopted on September 24, 2024, it was determined to prohibit the use of fuel oil as fuel in heating and electricity generation enterprises located in the city of Tashkent and the adjacent regions of the Tashkent region from 2030, and to gradually limit the use of fuels below the Euro-4 standard from 2028.
