When is Eid al-Adha? The date of the holiday for Muslims has been determined!
Today, May 28, marks the beginning of the first day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, which holds a special place in the Muslim world. This was officially announced by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan. With the arrival of this blessed month, the feeling of anticipation for the holiday has intensified in the hearts of Muslims both in our country and around the world.

In Islam, the month of Dhu al-Hijjah is considered one of the holiest and most exalted months of the year. The most important and widely celebrated day of this month is Eid al-Adha (Qurbon Hayit). This holiday, which brings great joy and happiness to Muslims each year, is observed on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah. Therefore, the exact date of Eid al-Adha is currently of great interest to many.

According to the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, this year Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Friday, June 6. This day is not only a time of worship and sacrifice for Muslims, but also a day of charity, reconciliation, and strengthening relationships.

The day before the holiday, June 5, is marked as the Day of Arafah. This day holds great significance in Islam, and Muslims offer special prayers and supplications. Fasting on the Day of Arafah is considered especially virtuous. It is believed to be one of the days when prayers are accepted and sins are forgiven.

Preparations for Eid al-Adha have already begun throughout the country. Special events are being planned in mosques, religious centers, and homes. As in previous years, this day will be welcomed with great joy and happiness in our country, serving as a clear expression of our people’s unity, compassion, and tolerance.

One of the most important rituals of Eid al-Adha is the act of sacrifice. In Islam, sacrifice symbolizes a person’s love and gratitude toward Allah. At the same time, sharing the meat of the sacrificed animal with the poor, the needy, and relatives is considered a virtuous deed.

Since this year Eid al-Adha falls on a Friday, Muslims will have the opportunity to perform two important acts of worship: the Eid prayer and the Friday (Jumu’ah) prayer. This will increase the spiritual value and blessings of the holiday, adding more joy for Muslims.

On this day, Muslims in our country will not only engage in worship but also have the opportunity to strengthen relationships with family members, relatives, and neighbors, and to promote compassion and generosity. On the eve of the holiday, charity events for low-income and needy families will also be actively organized.

Thus, as the holiday of Eid al-Adha approaches on June 6, the festive spirit in the hearts of the Muslims in our country continues to grow. We pray that this holiday brings blessings, peace, and prosperity to us all.
