The Central Bank has announced new exchange rates for May 29
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced new currency exchange rates effective from May 29, 2025.
According to the update, the official exchange rate for the U.S. dollar is now 12,831.13 UZS, down by 55.77 UZS. This brings the total two-day drop to over 100 UZS.

The euro also declined to 14,542.80 UZS (-82.54), and the British pound dropped by 120.45 UZS to 17,336.14.

Other currencies that fell include the Japanese yen (88.96, -0.58), Swiss franc (15,515.27, -84.42), and Chinese yuan (1,784.68, -6.39).

The only currency to show an increase was the Russian ruble, which rose by 0.2 UZS to 161.07.
