The Thailand Open international boxing tournament in Bangkok has reached its final stage, and today the decisive matches continue. Our compatriot, Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov's brother Faryozbek Dusmatov, also participated in this prestigious competition and became the champion in his weight category.
The final clash in the -55 kg weight category was between Faryozbek Dusmatov and the representative of the host country, Sarawut Sukthet. The fight began in a very tense and uncompromising spirit. In the first round, both boxers were distinguished by their active and aggressive movements.
However, during the second round, the famous Thai boxer Sarawut Sukthet suffered a concussion and, after medical supervision, was not allowed to continue the fight. Dusmatov, who showed true fighting spirit, was declared the winner by the doctor's decision and won the gold medal.
This achievement is one of the biggest victories for Faryozbek Dusmatov in the international ring and inspires confidence that he will achieve high results in major competitions in the future.
Also, another important fight awaits our compatriots - in the final of the -70 kg weight category, Muhammadazizbek Ismailov is scheduled to enter the ring against the representative of Kazakhstan, Torekhan Sabirkhan. It is expected that the flag of Uzbekistan will fly high again in this fight.
The editorial staff of Zamin.uz congratulates Faryozbek Dusmatov, who became the champion, and wishes good luck to our boxers who will participate in the final. Young people like them are our pride, serving to enhance the sports potential of our country. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
