The Muslim Board of Uzbekistan has reported the death of the well-known Imam of Rakat Jome Mosque, Rabbimkul Muhammadiev. According to the information, on May 23, 2025, Imam Rabbimkul Muhammadiev departed from Tashkent for a pilgrimage to Medina, and during the flight, his condition worsened.

According to the information, Imam Rabbimkul Muhammadiev fell asleep during the flight and did not wake up in this condition. Upon arrival in Medina, the international airport doctors noted that his condition was critical, and he could not respond to questions. On the same day, he was transferred to the Muavasat Clinic in Medina, where doctors diagnosed acute disruption of brain circulation, brain swelling, and changes in the brainstem structures.

On May 24, 2025, after undergoing neurosurgery, Imam Rabbimkul's condition worsened, and he passed away in the early morning of May 26, 2025. His death was a great loss for Uzbekistan and the Muslim community.

Today, on May 26, a funeral prayer for Imam Rabbimkul Muhammadiev will be held at the Masjid-un-Nabawi in Medina, and he will be buried at the Baqi Cemetery.

Imam Rabbimkul Muhammadiev had been serving as an imam-hatib since 1997 and had worked in several spiritual centers in Tashkent. His work as an imam became a source of inspiration for many pilgrims and Muslims worldwide. Specifically, he led prayers at Ok Tunukali, Ibrahim Ata, Imam Termizi, and Rakat Jome Mosques.

The Muslim Board of Uzbekistan expressed condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased and declared its readiness to contribute to immortalizing his memory. The life and work of Imam Rabbimkul Muhammadiev will undoubtedly live in the hearts of every Muslim.
