Subsidies up to 100 million soums will be allocated to some farmers

The Presidential Decree “On the introduction of a modern organizational system and additional measures for financial support in the activities of household landowners and peasant farms” (No. PF-22, 14.02.2025) was adopted.

The following financial support procedures will be introduced from the funds of the Fund for Supporting the Activities of Household Farms and Household Landowners:

- grants will be allocated annually in an amount not exceeding 100 times the MRP for the most exemplary and innovative project implemented in one household in 500 makhallas;

- a subsidy of up to 15 times the MRP will be allocated for each course to cover the costs associated with organizing short-term training courses by master farmers;

- a subsidy of up to 100 million soums will be allocated to master farmers who have established export-oriented production on their plots of land of 50% of households in a certain mahalla;

- loans will be allocated through commercial banks for projects on the production, processing, drying, storage and packaging of agricultural products for a period of up to 7 years with a grace period of up to 2 years at a rate of 4 percentage points above the Central Bank's base rate (including a 5% bank margin);

- Compact refrigerated warehouses, packaging, drying and processing equipment, and ready-made greenhouses on residential plots and leased land will be leased with a grace period of 24 months and payment in installments over 5 years.
